Hop on the ViralTags Wagon

I came across this on CourtneyTuttle.com today. It’s pretty much exactly like the Andy Coates Viralink, except this time you get to add anchor text instead of just the asterisk. Jimmy Huen from FoundersCafe came up with this and it’s genius! Hurry and join in on this today, before that many people. If you’re one of the first, you get the advantage of being linked to more times!

Instructions:

1.) Copy and paste the matrix of “ViralTags” below courtesy of Founders Cafe.

2.) Substitute the Host Tag and one of the “Viral Tags” in the matrix with your anchor text of choice with your blog’s URL. Please keep anchor text to a max of 3 words to keep the matrix size manageable.

3.) When you get a ping back from someone that has your link in one of their “Viral Tags”, practice good karma by copying his/her Host Tag’s anchor text (automatically the associated link will also be copied) and paste it over one of your “Viral Tags” below.

4.) Encourage and invite your readers to do the same and soon this can grow virally.

    Hey I think you missed the most important thing, that is to update your “Host Tag” so that I and who ever copies from your blog here to know what anchor text you want.

    Please go to my blog post and leave a comment with your anchor text and I will update my matrix. You need to update the “Host Tag” here too and replace an unoccupied “ViralTag” with your own URL. Good luck :D

    Judy,

    No, I am not. That was a long time ago, and besides, I found participating in the ViralTags matrix a huge mistake. All the links are artificial, and it’s pretty much like cheating. Yes, I’ve changed my mind. The links are not real and they aren’t people actually linking to content for any other reason than to gain back links for themselves. Google punishes people who use link tricks like these. Most of the links I have are from this, and I hate it. I can’t measure how successful my blog really is because of this. If I could go back, I would not have used ViralTags. Sorry, but I’m not doing it anymore. Thanks for your time,
