Super Saturday Links
September 8, 2007
It’s a Saturday, and instead of writing a detailed article, I’ll save the seriousness for the weekdays. So in the place of that, I’ll be linking to some very deserving bloggers in the blogosphere. Today you’re going to have to get comfortable and settled down for a while of awesome reading. I’ve read the blogs in my Google Reader and those of my commentators, and I’ve gathered a collection of awesome articles and sites. Please do read and consider subscribing to them.

I would like to end this great collection of reading by saying HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND! If you want me to link to one of your articles in my next roundup, drop a comment on this post and let me know. If I find it deserving enough, I will send some traffic and a backlink your way! I also link to blogs whose authors are regular commentators of my site, or blogs I find interesting. So after saying that, I hope by the next roundup you’re included! Happy blogging. :)

Got something to say?

Hi,
I have a simple saturday today. I just write some posts and read some blogs. Thanks for your useful articles on sharing alot of good blogging tips.
Cheers, keeyit
Thanks for the link Tay.
Tay, One thing keeps nagging at me. I’m a dual-topic blogger, and I think I might need to split off, or drop one of them. I’m writing computing tips and writing humor (about half unrelated to computing). Everyone says develop and stick to just one niche. My stats show that most people are going for my humor pieces. I think that tells me something…. stick to the funny stuff.
But sometimes I feel like I can’t be funny some days and that’s when I throw in a computing tip. I have a ton of those off the top of my head, so I grab one when I get stuck for something to talk about.
I guess I know what I need to do.
Love your blog!
Kathy
Kathy - Yes, usually you need to stick to one niche with a blog. Humor is much easier to get visitors for usually, but if you’re best at computing tips that’s still a great one too. If you incorporated your humor into being computing humor that would work great, but if not perhaps you’d need to pick just one. But you did say you know what you need to do. Are you going for the computing tips? :) Thank you!
Well, I have to say that I enjoy writing general humor pieces more than anything related to computing. I think my decision is made. Sorry, computing… you’re just not funny enough!
Kathy,
I’m glad you made your decision. If you like writing humor more, then that’s definitely what you should do. Humor is also probably easier to attract visitors too, and if you have writer’s block it could also be easier to overcome when you’re writing funny stuff. Good luck! :)
