@Ruchir - I agree with you. I don't think I could ever keep a blog as professional as she did. However, right before she sold her site she wrote about getting a free iPod Touch online and letting us know every step of the way - I was pretty interested in that, but I guess it won't be happening now. Haha! Do you think this is the last we'll see of Kumiko? BTW - her site got a PR5, not 6. ;)

@David - You're right. If this blog made that much monthly, I would not sell it. Her earnings will only increase and she could end up making $15,000 just blogging in no time. But I think she made a good decision. Blogging can be hard work and maybe she didn't want to continue it any longer.

Oh my god. $1,000 + revenue each month is really good. I think she is short selling herself there. Cashquests has the potential to become something big!

I was expecting her to sell the blog anytime after the PR update. CashQuests getting a PR6 drove the price up, especially. I have to say, $15,000 is a lot of money! The one thing I especially liked about Kumiko was her ability to maintain her blog in a business like way and never add any personal touch to it.

[...] Check it out! While looking through the blogosphere we stumbled on an interesting post today. Here’s a quick excerpt I’ve been reading CashQuests.com now for many, many months. It was one of the first make money online sites I ever came across, back in the very beginning of 2007. I have always loved and appreciated Kumiko’s style of writing. She has a very direct and blunt approach that so many people just couldn’t resist. In fact, I included her in my article titled 3 Bloggers You Should Strive To Be More Like because she speaks her mind and that’s a good quality to have! Now I have noticed that CashQuests [...]
