I find stepping away from the computer as good a way as any to inspire myself. Going for a walk, chatting to people, watching TV, these are all things that inspire the mind to work a little more and I find myself thinking of things to write about. It's never good to emerse yourself too much in what you do, you end up not seeing the wood for the trees.
