Interesting observations! You’re right, visits are quick and loyalty is usually low, but the widget doesn’t do any harm and encourages activity on other sites and discovering new blogs. I really appreciate that you read and commented! :)

I use Entrecard about the same way that you do.� It is there and it can do no harm while readers come and go.� It’s like StumbleUpon in the sense that visits are quick and loyalty is low or nonexistent.� But it does one other very good thing.� It motivates me to go out and look at blogs.� And I usually become so involved in building my own I forget to do that.� The little banner on the side reminds me to take a break and go blog hopping for a bit. In fact that’s how I got here! And I actually stopped, read and commented. It would have been a ten second visit if my eyes had not landed on this interesting post.

My gut feeling is that it really depends on the type of blog — for instance, very specialized blogs might have a hard time getting “truly interested” readers.

You get what you put into E card. It’s the way it should be. For all you out there who try to buy E cards on irrelevant blogs needs to stop. Blogrush should just end I have a blog tha gets 10,000 visits a day and blogrush only sends a few people. Its worthless.

i think entrecard is worth it..it brings repeat visitors to ur site who just visit to ‘drop theirs’ but overall it does provide good exposure considering u r getting around 50 visitors a day..nice blog found it off digitalpoint…keep up the great work!
