I’ve experienced the same as Tay. One of the pages I stumbled about a year ago appears to have been revisited. I received another 400 visits for it a couple days ago. There were no additional thumbs up listed so I am assume stumble just randomly chose it, it was not caused by some one stumbling it.

I love Stumble. The users are generally more focused on quality content, rather than spamming the system.

I’m going to have to disagree with that, because multiple times I’ll go and check my stats and find out an article that was stumbled months ago suddenly got an extra thumbs up months later and sent hundreds more visitors. That happens to me at least once a week. It’s strange, but I’m not complaining!

And as for views, of course they’re views. StumbleUpon sends all those visitors, but the majority of them are there for knowledge or entertainment and won’t comment. I rarely comment on sites I find through StumbleUpon, and only thumbs up if I really, really like it. But that doesn’t mean the visitors didn’t exist in the first place.

The sites that only work for one day are social media sites like Digg, after 24 hours I think it’s pretty much a lost cause. But there are always exceptions.

i dont know. i think stumble is only good for one day on each post you submit. i never get anything but that one good day. and i doubt they’re even views. cause i get no comments or thumbs ups.
