Sometimes when a person is writing for a blog, it’s easy to get distanced from the readers - and then you end up writing articles that no one wants to read anyway. That’s why I’m composing this post today; I want to make sure I stay in touch with the visitors of this blog and that I’m delivering the content that they want and need.
That’s why I’d really appreciate if you read through this post and share your opinions. Leave a comment or even email me and let me know what things you’d like to learn about blogging, online productivity, writing, web design, making money on the internet, etc.
Speaking of those things, what ARE you wanting to learn about? Most people read dozens of blogs everyday and over three-fourths of posts they read turns out to be useless and rehashed content that’s been seen on plenty of other sites before. It’s time to offer something new. It’s time to offer something useful, something that will help you. What do you want that to be?
What kind of posts would you like to see and read on this blog? Ones concerning how to be productive or improve your writing? Or posts about web design or Wordpress? Or just more ways to make money online and take what you have and double it, or improve your SEO?
Apart from expanding or changing the range of topics covered here to better suit your needs as the reader, I’m also interested in doing case studies and experiments to figure out what works and what doesn’t. Then if something I test is successful, you can duplicate it - and if it’s not, then you won’t have to waste your time. A huge part of blogging is trying out new things, but some people are afraid to take that giant leap. If there’s anything you’ve been curious about or wondering to try, then let me know and I might experiment with it.
A blog without readers is nothing. A site’s visitors make it what it is. There would be no point in writing here if it weren’t for YOU, so please drop a comment and honestly let me know what kind of things in this niche you want to learn about. I can’t try everything and encompass each and every topic, but I want to do my best to help as many of you as possible. That’s why I’d like your input. Why are you here? What do you want to learn? Don’t hesitate, share your ideas!

i would like posts, that can help breathe traffic into my blog!
I’d like posts that can teach me how I can be more productive. You see, I need “productivity lessons” so much. I also noticed that I’ve been slacking off lately and figured that I need posts that can motivate me and make me realize that I should do some work.
I’ve been talking about how one can be productive and why being productive is so important, but I dunno… I’m getting lazier. Bah, must be the effect of having a summer break and having tons of time to have fun!

Thanks to all of you for sharing your input! Those are all some fantastic ideas and I’ll try to incorporate them into the content. Also, if anyone who is an expertise at a certain topic would like to guest post alongside, it would be much appreciated!
@Wayne Liew,
I have been offering a completely full RSS feed since I started this site, and that only changed when I got my new theme. The reason for this is, on the homepage, posts under the Featured section have to be cut off with a “Read more” tag (so the whole post doesn’t appear there). In return, this makes those posts partial in the RSS reader. Not all posts are partial, some are still full, but the ones I put under the featured section have to be cut off. There’s no other way around it. My apologies!
