Grab Your 125×125 Ad For Just $2! And Other Deals…

June 8, 2008

125×125 ads on Super Blogging are currently selling for a reasonable $30 a month, but what if I told you that you could get one exclusive spot for just $2 a week? Compare those two prices, and you’ll see all the boatloads of money you’re saving!

Q. Why in the world would you sell an ad that cheap?

A. It’s all in the sake of experimenting. The 125×125 ad that is set apart from the others is the one where my Entrecard.com widget used to be. I wanted to see which gave this blog and its readers better results - letting them advertise via Entrecard per day, or purchase a very cheap $2 spot on a weekly basis. By taking advantage of this deal, you’re also taking part in a pretty cool study!

Q. Okay, awesome! How can I grab this ad spot?

A. I’ve made it extremely simple for you. The first thing you have to is PayPal $2 to tay [at] superbloggingtips [dot] com. Then just send me an email letting me know you’ve sent the payment. Also make sure to send me the URL of the 125×125 image you’d like used, and the URL of the site or page you want it to link to. Once you’ve done that, you’ll immediately go on the waiting list for the next spot to get your own week of $2 advertising!

Other Great Advertising Deals

I would also like to let you guys know that I’m running some other quick deals. Guess what? If you purchase a review, you’ll get a 125×125 banner for FREE! Reviews run at the inexpensive price of $60, and if you buy one, you’ll get a 125×125 banner for free! That’s a $90 deal at the price of $60, and it’s definitely not one you’d want to miss out on. If you’re interested in ordering a review for your site, company, or product and getting your free ad space with it, email me here.

Please also be sure to check out our current top sponsor, Market Leverage. They’ve been making a huge blast around the web lately and sure know how to interact with bloggers. Note: Group Writing Project Deadline is TOMORROW!

May 25, 2008

The time left for you to submit your entries for round three of Super Blogging’s group writing project is almost up. In this group writing project you can write a new post specifically for the compilation, or send in older posts from your archives - so all you have to do is basically take five minutes, sift through your best and most relevant posts, and type up a quick email. There’s not much work involved, and in return you get a feature and links in a large and helpful resource that will be read by many.

Don’t want to miss out? Then check out the original announcement post, read up on the details, and then email me with up to three articles of your best work that are related to blogging in some way, shape, or form. Like I mentioned, the deadline is tomorrow, May 26. If you were wanting to enter then that doesn’t leave you much more time, so don’t hesitate!

I’ve already received many great entries, but there’s no limit and always room for more. As long as your post is relevant it will most likely be included in the final product. So send in your entries, and look out for the compilation within the next week or so. I look forward to receiving all your emails and putting this one together, I can tell it’s going to be great. Thanks again to all those reading and contributing, I really appreciate it.

And in the meantime, in anticipation of the upcoming round three, check out round one and round two for boatloads of great reading! Thanks again.

Also, consider checking out the $2 banner ad experiment, where you can purchase a sitewide 125×125 banner on SuperBloggingTips.com for just, you guessed it, $2. I promise you that you can’t find a deal like this anywhere else, so jump on it before it’s too late. Not only can you get plenty of exposure, but you can also be a part of a great experiment. Super Blogging Updates

May 18, 2008

Hi guys! I just wanted to let you all know about the things that are going on here lately, and some things to anticipate and participate in so you don’t miss out.

Firstly, I’d like to say I’m sorry for missing the bi-weekly Best of the Blogosphere update, which was supposed to be on Friday. Things are returning to normal this week, so look out for the next one. It’ll be jam-packed full of great articles to make up for things!

Secondly, there are currently a lot of things going on here at this blog which you might not want to miss out on. For starters, there’s the $2 banner ad experiment, where I’m selling 125×125 ads for, you guessed it, $2. So far it’s working out great, and if you want to get in on that great deal, you’d better do it now while you have the time. Then there’s also the group writing project, where you can submit up to three of your best articles and get them featured and linked to here. It’s a win-win for everyone, and you get plenty of exposure for it. But the deadline is May 26, so don’t hesitate!

And then, there’s the series on making an eBook without spending a dime, which will be continued throughout a group of multiple posts, teaching you how to make an eBook for free, ideas on what to do with one, how to market one, and even make money online with one. eBooks are fantastic marketing tools, gifts to your readers, or money-earners, so subscribe to Super Blogging so you don’t miss any of the posts in the series and any of the knowledge that’s to gain.

I’d also like to thank Jacob from the Group Writing Projects site for writing up about round three of Super Blogging’s group writing project. It’s a great blog and a fantastic way to keep updated with all kinds of projects you can participate in to gain exposure and network with others. If you’re not subscribed to it yet, then do so here.

Finally, I’d like to thank the readers and subscribers of Super Blogging, and I promise an increase of plenty of good content coming to you this week and from now on. And if you’re into making money online, then check out one of Super Blogging’s best sponsors, MarketLeverage. You won’t regret it!

Hope you all had a nice weekend. :)

Group Writing Project: Featuring YOUR Articles About Blogging

May 14, 2008

shareyoursmarts.png Do you remember the last group writing project, The All-Time Best Blogging Articles, which was back in January? Well now it’s time to do that all again and welcome round three of Super Blogging’s group writing project. Here’s a quick rundown:

Basically, I’m trying to collect dozens of the most helpful articles about blogging and compile them all in one well-organized and extensive resource. These compilations always attract plenty of attention and views, which not only draws in traffic, but also sends those information-hungry visitors right to you and your blog.

So how does it work? Basically, go through the recent archives of your blog and find the very best articles about blogging: making money online, traffic generation, WordPress customization, search engine optimization, creating backlinks, improving writing skills, social media, increasing RSS subscribers, selling a blog, being productive, etc. This niche is very broad and covers plenty of things, so if you’ve written about anything relevant, it’ll work (and if you’re not sure, don’t hesitate to ask). Then all you do is submit your work, and we’ll link to the article here!

Obviously I want this to be a nice collection of informative and valuable articles written by fellow bloggers, so there are a few rules:

  • You can submit up to 3 articles, but no more than that.
  • The articles can be new or written in the past, as long as they are still relevant.
  • The articles must be related somehow to blogging (just ask me if you’re not sure).
  • The deadline for all submissions is May 26. Articles submitted after that usually won’t be accepted (but you can always wait and submit again in the next group writing project).

To submit your articles, use this contact form. Please make sure you send me the URL to your articles, and if you like, tell me what they are about. Since I might not be able to include all the article submissions I receive, please send me your best quality work to make this resource as good as possible!

I’ll be composing this list shortly after May 26, the deadline - so please make sure you send me your articles on time. If your article is included in the list, it will be linked to and your name/site will be shown along with it, giving you links and exposure, not to mention inclusion in a permanent resource.

I can’t wait to read all of your articles, so please go ahead and submit yours. Up to three per person, and your best work please!

Meet Super Blogging’s New Theme

April 27, 2008

newlook.png I understand that you all might be thinking that this blog already got a new design pretty recently, and if you are thinking that, then you’re right. The answer is that yes, Super Blogging had been using the Revolution News theme as of March 5 - until now, that is. While the entire set of Revolution themes are excellent and probably the best magazine-style themes I’ve ever seen, I have found that they’re not right for this blog. Thus, I decided on the great free theme PassionDuo.

Like I said, I completely love the Revolution themes, which is why I was so excited to use one here in the first place. It’s a very professional and organized theme. However, I found that that type of theme is best for blogs with multi-authors, or ones on multiple topics. Using that theme helped the organization and helped keep the spotlight on older content, but the blog didn’t feel like a blog to me - apart from that, it was also a lot harder to keep up with.

That doesn’t mean I would totally rule out magazine style themes for blogs in this niche, or even for my blog. I think it is very important to experiment and find what’s best for you and your site. And obviously, the demands of your readers will always be changing so sometimes that requires for a change in design or how you run things as well.

I’m not sure if using the PassionDuo theme is a permanent decision, because that all depends on what YOU think. Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think about this theme, and if it’s right for Super Blogging. Also, if you have any other recommendations, don’t hesitate to send them to me - I’m all ears to your suggestions and I’m open to any other theme choices you might know of!

One big question though: is this theme better than the previous one? Let me know what you think about that as well.

Also note that there are some open advertising spots again, so if you’d like to be featured on this blog in the prime spots we offer, go ahead and purchase one or contact me for more details. And if you didn’t know, there are currently some HUGE advertising deals on Super Blogging - including one where you can purchase a review and get a 125×125 banner free. There are a total of four current deals, so be sure to check them out if you’d like to get some exposure on the space that comes with a new theme.
